| We know that providing FREE information & resources to families depends on your support.… Help us reach our goal of $23,000 by 2023! We are 78% there!! There are over 127,000 children receiving special education services in our Greater Houston area. In 2022, our outreach to our Houston underserved and under resourced communities was extensive. The need is great and the staff at F2FN are stretched thin. Every year, we support over 1500 families as they try to:find resources to help their children or adults with disabilities, learn about their rights in the special education system, gain access to services and support in school, understand how to get services from the local authorities or Texas Workforce, or get supplemental security income benefits in order to gain much needed health care or attendant care. We are thankful for your support as we end 2022! While it is not always easy being one of the thousands of non-profits in the greater Houston area, we are thankful for your assistance as we help families with children with disabilities navigate the complex education, health care and social service systems. Thank you so very much for your supportive information! I met with my son’s school personnel and the district supervisor and you were right, he can go back to school! The supervisor was very reassuring and accommodating, I felt very hopeful from some of the gloom that was attacking me, especially when my son was going through that crisis! I wish you were closer, you are a great, awesome help to me, so I could help my son!
